• Hon. Consul General for the Republic of Senegal – 1965
  
  
• Has always been interested in his religion of birth, espy. the scientific aspects of Islamic teachings and wrote many articles on Islamic topics
  
  
• Established - together with his wife – an Islamic Academy in Trinidad, for the use of the Muslim community to carry on Islamic educational and social activities - 1985
