Salaamu `alaykum Dear Scholars,
Before I start, I would like to say that I am not anti Jew or anything like that at all for I am a "MUSLIM". In fact, I have some secular Americanized Jewish friends at work. Still, I need to ask why the general Jews hate Muslims and Arabs? Why they never stop plotting against Muslims and even Christians. The American media owned and/or ran by Jews and Zionists has always portrayed Muslims as terrorists, when in fact, Ariel Sharon and others like him are guilty of war crimes. The Israeli’s lobby in America is so powerful and in fact, it is the one that controls the government.
Why do they use the American mighty to destroy the already semi dead impotent Arab/Muslim world? Why do they seek the destruction of Islam when in fact, Islam protected them from extinction when they were persecuted all over Europe? America’s expanded war into Iraq and other Muslim nations is to fight countries that Zionist Israel does not like. Zionist Israel has succeeded in isolating the United States of America from the world, the daily media diet of Anti-Arab and Anti-Islam rhetoric only serves Israel's interest not America’s interest, there are so many misconceptions about Islam in America, I would venture to say that average Americans know no more than 3% about Islam.
Why do they portray Muslims and Arabs as savage people whose sole intention in this world is to kill every single Jew and wipe them out from existence when in fact, it is the other way around?! I’ve seen a movie when I was in Jordan where little Jewish Children are singing and saying: “I must kill all Arabs and Muslims and drink from their blood!!!”
Is this the only way for them to dominate the world? Do they see Islam as an obstacle that prevents them from achieving their goal? God help us if Israel and the few powerful Zionist Jewish Lobby in America are going to push the Western world into Armageddon with the Muslim world, who benefits from such a world war between Christians and Muslims? May Allah bless humanity and open our minds and hearts to the truth.

Thank you for your question. In endeavouring to answer you I realized your question is best answered by appealing to the Jews in general. Having said that the Qur’an tells us in Surah 5, verse 82 that: *{You will surely find the most intense of the people in animosity toward the believers [to be] the Jews and those who associate others with Allah; and you will find the nearest of them in affection to the believers who say, We are Christians. That is because among them are priests and monks and because they are not arrogant.}*
From the book, Children of Abraham: An Introduction to Judaism for Muslims by Reuven Firestone PXXIII; “Judaism has evolved over many centuries and contemporary Jews acknowledge that the kinds of Judaism practiced today differ substantially from the Judaism practiced in the ancient era of the Bible. There are also a variety of expressions of Judaism today. As in all periods of Jewish history, there are different schools of interpretation of the Bible, different schools of law, and different attitudes towards practice and theology.”
Today, we also have the phenomenon of Zionism, which is a political entity. At the beginning of the 20th century, only 36% of Jews were in favor of the “creation of the State of Israel”. That figure has now gone over 60%. The increase is due to many factors including the tragic events referred to as the Holocaust, a general belief among Jews that they have to stick together and support one another, and the role of Zionism in “modern Judaism”. By contrast, there are the orthodox Jews who believe the State of Israel should be handed back to the Palestinians.
Rabbi Yisroel Dovid Weiss, spokesman of Neturei Karta International, a world wide movement of anti-Zionist Jews, announced that a delegation of Rabbis will be joining the "Coalition of Arab-American, Muslim Organizations" in protest against the Zionist State.
"It is high, time that the Jewish people realize that which our sages and the vast majority of Jewry understood, when Zionism began a little over a century ago, that, Zionism is a movement of profound danger to the Jewish people."
"Hasn't enough blood been spilled, both Jewish and Palestinian? Isn't it time to rethink the entire Zionist enterprise?"
Christians are also taking sides; we have the Christian Zionists which include the Southern Baptists, Jerry Falwell and Franklin Graham. These are very keen to take ‘aid’ including Christianity to the people of Iraq.
If we look at the world today, we see it is composed largely as a result of essentially Christian and Jewish thinking. The politico-economic system of interest is the base for all finance. Islam has the only system to oppose this, and while Islamic Banking is still in its infancy, it is growing. Even non-Muslim banks are trying to imitate Islamic mortgages, Islamic Shares and now Islamic Stock Exchange(s) all designed to attract funds from Muslims.
We have “globalization” which effectively requires a “client regime” running the targeted country, so that laws can be passed which facilitate multinational companies investing in these countries. The resources are then exploited to the benefit of the multinationals, for example: Indonesia and President Sukarto, the Philippines and President Marcos, Panama and General Noreiga, Iran and the Shah, Saudi Arabia and the House of Saud, with Iraq and the “US client regime” possibly the latest example.
Recently Ramsay Clark had this to say in response to President Bush’s statement to the UN:
“U.S. forces must be withdrawn from Iraq and Afghanistan. These must be our last foreign military interventions. U.S. companies must be barred from profiting from contracts for "rebuilding Iraq" which the U.S. destroyed. Ten percent of the U.S. military budget at the 2003 level should be paid into a U.N. fund for the next decade to compensate Iraq and Afghanistan for U.S. crimes against them, to be used as they choose.”
With 40% of the world’s trade in the hands of 200 companies and the world’s richest 100 people owning more wealth than the world’s poorest 2.5 billion people one can only wonder if capitalism is really working? Again, with the demise of “socialism” Islam is the only real alternative system with Zakat and inheritance serving to redistribute wealth. Little wonder the rich and the powerful are usually against Islam.
These are some of the background issues and, of course, a lot of the world’s resources just happen to be in Muslim lands. The Christians are targeting the area between the 10 – 40 degrees north parallels, an area which includes almost all Muslim countries for conversion to Christianity.
In addition to all this, with what appears to be the “serial wars” - are these a continuation of the Crusades? By the US and the UK plus Australia, one can only wonder if the West really does want to hasten Armageddon? Apparently Billy Graham advised President Bush snr. to drop nuclear bombs on Iraq during the Gulf War as a way of hastening Armageddon and the coming of the Messiah. This wasn’t done, only depleted uranium shells were used.
If you look at the situation in the Middle East you will find very few of the public understand the roots of the conflict. Practically no one seems to know the guarantees that were given by the League of Nations concerning “two parallel States” at the time of the creation of Israel in 1948.
Even today one reads only of the martyr operations (suicide bombings) by the Palestinians and how they have blown the Road Map off course. We don’t hear how Israel, in defiance of world opinion and international law, has accelerated the building of illegal settlements in the occupied territories, how the dividing wall is being built, how many innocent Palestinians including children are being killed by illegal targeted assassinations. Nor how many Palestinians have been killed and wounded - compared to how few Israeli’s - since George Bush jnr. proposed the myth of the Road Map. The mass media is one sided.
Further, people in the US are shielded from international news as the US government under Monroe (circa 1845) made a conscious decision to isolate America from the rest of the world: a decision still in effect today. It is hardly surprising that the average American doesn’t seem to understand how the rest of the world sees America and her policies.
As for who benefits from a war? Ask any economist, What is the solution to an economic slow-down or down-turn? They are likely to respond: War! Just look at the bombing of Tokyo and Dresden in the Second World War and who profited from the rebuilding? Then, there was the rebuilding of Kuwait and Iraq after the Gulf War, Kosovo and the former Yugoslavia and now Afghanistan. Look back at Ramsay Clark’s comments earlier and watch Iraq for the answers.
As for Israel’s designs, one only has to listen to Ariel Sharon. There was a picture of Greater Zion now called Ersatz Israel. This was supposed to come into existence at the time of the “Elect” when three Rabbi’s would announce him to the world. This is why Orthodox Judaism believes Israel should only come into existence at that time, not now. The passage quoted earlier from “The Children of Israel” book shows Judaism is constantly changing its ground.
One issue the Israeli’s make a lot of is, The Palestinians want to destroy the State of Israel. Well, the Qur`an tells Muslims to fight in defense of your religion, your land, your homes and your family and expel those who expelled you.
The Israeli’s should realize there will be no solution until the Right of Return of the Palestinians is respected by the Israeli’s as it is by international law and – nominally - by the international community. The international community, through the UN, has a history of agreeing something and then not implementing it. How many UN resolutions has Israel ignored - compared to how many by Saddam Hussein? There really are double standards at work, we should all try to give the truthful picture and benefit mankind as a whole.
If Islam really is gaining reverts at a fast rate under today’s political climate, as portrayed by the mass media, and women are reverting twice as fast as men; how do you think this would be affected if an accurate picture of Islam was readily available? If there was a practical example of an Islamic State would this also affect the rate of conversion to Islam? Muslims should be more concerned that for every Muslim there are four non-Muslims and, perhaps, we should focus our energies on presenting the truth of Islam to as many people as possible.
Islam does offer an alternative way of life, but, as with every religion, there are extremists who are in the minority. If grievances and injustice were addressed and double standards abolished, then the need for terrorism would decrease and the world would become a better place to live, God Willing.
