The world has witnessed in the 8 short years of this century a tragic number of severe atrocities and brutality that shock the eye and pain the heart.

In 2001, the New York World Trade Center was attacked, and many people died with no valid reason at all except for their being in the buildings at that time.

In Afghanistan, many people were killed in the US-led invasion following September 11 attacks.

In Iraq, more than one million Iraqis have been killed since the US-led invasion of the country in 2003.

Thousands of Lebanese died in the 2006 war with Israel.

In the latest chapter of human violence, hundreds of already besieged Palestinians in Gaza have been killed by Israeli airstrikes in the past couple of days.

Commenting on the current attacks, an Israeli official, Ofer Shmerling, told Al Jazeera TV: "I will play music and celebrate what the Israeli air force is doing."

The bombs continue to fall, and the blood and tears continue to flow as the music plays on…

What does your religion say about these atrocities?

Whatever your religion is, we would like you to share your opinion with us on what religions all over the world can do in the face of this violence.
